Description

With the impending release of this latest Pixar movie, it was only to be expected that the full range of gaming systems would see a tie-in of some description or another. Released alongside the 3D adventure console versions, Finding Nemo on PC is actually a different game entirely, however, appearing in the form of a simple and fun point-and-click adventure. Obviously the background story remains the same: Nemo is a clownfish on his way to school when he is suddenly captured by a scuba diver. His father Marlin then sets off on an adventure to rescue him and soon bumps into forgetful fish Dory, who helps him on his quest. The game itself sees players help Nemo and Marlin solve puzzles and win arcade-style games in order to reunite them. There are two separate storylines, one for each character, running at the same time - players can jump back and forth between the two throughout until they are reunited. Marlin's story sees he and Dory braving the perils of the ocean, while Nemo's begins in a dentist's aquarium, from which he must escape or wind up being a birthday present for dentist's niece, Darla. As players work their way through the adventure, they meet and interact with a host of characters from the film, while being challenged with an assortment of puzzles, activities and minigames.
