Sony's PlayStation 4 is an eighth-generation video game console with advanced graphical capabilities and processing power over previous versions. Two models are still produced – the Slim and the Pro. The Slim is a smaller version of the console, and has slightly less processing power than the Pro. The Slim also lacks the 4K support found on the Pro version.
PS4 games can be purchased on Blu-ray Disc, as well as by digital download through the PlayStation Store. The PlayStation store is typically more expensive than retail options, with the benefit being that you can download the game and install it instantly, without leaving your sofa. For the best bargains, it is much better to order a retail copy online.
