Match 3 Madness for Nintendo DS is the definitive collection of match-3 games, combining addictive puzzle gameplay with extraordinary power-ups and an enjoyable construction twist. Match 3 Madness adds a creative element to the evergreen match-3 gameplay template by incorporating an overarching aim to the game - building and improving a lavish holiday park on a luxurious tropical island. Players must finish puzzles as quickly as possible and collect a set amount of coloured stones in order to construct a variety of facilities, unlock buildings and acquire improvements for the island, which then provide players with access to more levels. Set against variety of colourful backgrounds, Match 3 Madness will keep players glued to their DS consoles with 27 different match 3 puzzles, each grouped into one of three game types: �Bejewelled style�, where players must swap, move or rotate stones on screen to create a line of 3 matching ones; �Bubble shooter style�, in which the aim is to clear the screen by aiming and shooting stones to create a combination of 3 of the same colour, �Tetris style�, requiring players to click on clusters of three or more blocks to remove them from the screen as new rows appear every few seconds. Match 3 Madness for DSalso boasts a suite of helpful power-ups to assist the player. Split into two types � Internal and External. Internal power-ups work within the game type currently being played to provide assistance to the player, but External power-ups spread across all game types, meaning players can earn powerups in one game type that are helpful in the other two.
