Description

Coming from Nickelodeon's anime-type hit cartoon is Avatar: The Legend of Aang. Formerly known as 'The Last Airbender', this fella's all about kung-fu mojo and suchlike. Suchlike referring to bending air, in a lot of cases. You, the player, must take on the role of Aang. He's been charged with the not-insignificant task of single-handedly defeating the evil that is the Fire Nation. As an Airbender, Aang can summon winds to fly, project wind tunnels at his enemies, and give you a bad case of the burpees. Armed with these formidable talents (except giving you the burpees, we made that bit up) Aang must attempt to learn the skills of manipulating other elements as only an Avatar can. The cartoon pedigree of this game is sure to make it a hit with younger audiences as they get to replicate the high-flying heroism of the lead character. Not only will players be able to control Aang, they'll also be able utilise any of his four pals as they travel the world with him. Katara, Haru and Sokka all bring their unique abilities into play. When navigating fire hazards, for instance, Katara comes into play. As a Waterbender and natural healer, she's ideal for avoiding going down in flames. In some cases even Momo, a cuddly lemur who can normally be found resting on Aang's shoulder, will become useful.
