Description
Smile. Go on. It's Everybody's Tennis. Everybody's! Everyone with a PS2 who buys a copy, anyway. It took the good folks at Sony long enough to get around to spinning different kinds of sports game out of Everybody's Golf, but they finally went and did it. Everybody's Tennis takes the laid-back, summery feel of its golfing cousin and brings it to the world of racket sports. Simplicity's the name of the game. That and fun. No tennis pros to grind you into paste here; just cutesy characters playing in pleasant environments. As you might expect, the more you play, the more of said characters and exotic locations you'll unlock. The simplicity carries through into the game's control system too. No complicated combos to get your desired shot here. Just sweet and simple controls to keep things breezing along. That doesn't mean you won't have to use your noggin, however. Strategy's all important. Manipulating your opponent across the court will open up space for you to place that crucial smash and progress up the leaderboard. If you fancy getting involved with a bit of tennis this summer but can't face the beat up old concrete court down at the local park (complete with holes in the fence) then this might be for you.
